Questions

How often should a chimney be swept?

At least once a year for most chimneys in regular use, and more often if you burn wood or bituminous coal or use the fire every day. Before the heating season is a good time.

Is the quote free?

Yes. Tell us what you need and the chimney sweep will give you a price before any work starts. There's no obligation to go ahead.

Will it make a mess?

A careful sweep covers the fireplace and floor and uses a vacuum to keep dust down. Clear the area in front of the fireplace before they arrive.

Can I send photos?

Yes. WhatsApp photos of the fireplace, stove or chimney pot to 087 210 4736 and they'll be passed on with your request.
